Jeffrey Braun

Jeffrey brings over 10 years of design experience to Durante Furniture. His career has included freelance art direction, window display and interior design. He received his BFA in Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts in 2000, and has been pursuing his passion for furniture ever since. Jeffrey broke away from the transient and impersonal quality of commercial set design to pursue the more permanent and personal nature of furniture. He has been involved in the process of narrowing his artistic focus over the last 15 years, giving him a unique approach to furniture design: Drawing upon his filmic background, his designs are created to capture multiple experiences from many different vantage points. Details are carried through an entire design, inviting the "viewer" to notice all aspects of the piece. Jeffrey’s collection fills a need in the market for furniture with traditional references, contemporary lines, and exquisite craftsmanship. His furniture has the ability to compliment many styles or make a beautiful statement on its own.
